Overview:
Central Highlands Regional Council required rectification works to be carried out on 3 x Sewer Pump Stations. NTS Group were appointed as the Principal Contractor to augment these assets and extend their time in operation. The project involved several high-risk activities including – confined space entry, working at heights, bypassing the sewer network & deep excavations. The crew delivered the project well ahead of schedule, which resulted in positive feedback from the client.
Scope:

Temporary sewer bypass arrangements in order to isolate the SPS assets from the network

Removal and replacement of existing pipework from the pumps in the wet well, through to the valve pit

Penetrations through wet well walls into the valve pits

Supply & installation of new flow meter pits

Replacement of existing valves & associated flanged pipework

Open Cut Trenching & Pipe Installations in verge, road pavement and footpath

Supply & installation of new lids, vent poles, electrical infrastructure

Restoration of road, turf & concrete footpaths/driveways
